10 Years of Get Your Mobi!

The 18^th of June 2021 marks the 10 year anniversary of Get Your Mobi; 10 whole years! Where has the time gone? We have gone from being one of the first companies in the UK to offer mobile specific websites, to providing website design and comprehensive digital marketing solutions.

On our anniversary, it seems fitting to tell you how it all began…

Our Story:

It all started in 2010 with a vision that the internet was going to go mobile. Our directors Adam and Lee came together with the idea to build mobile specific websites in a time when you had to pinch and zoom to see read websites.

Starting in a tiny office with Adam building sites and Lee selling them, Get Your Mobi was born (The name Get Your Mobi comes from the .mobi extension we started building sites on). Our first client was a windscreen repair company who is still a customer now!

With a fantastic first year under our belts, we re-built our software to further improve our mobile websites. In the first 5 years, we even moved office 4 times due to high demand and rapid growth. And as our client base expanded, so did our products. We went from mobile websites to full responsive design, SEO and content writing, and further grew our team.

Now we offer a wide range of products to our customers, some of whom have been with us from the very beginning!

‘We know time flies in life and seems to get faster the older you get, but it honestly feels like yesterday when we started Get Your Mobi. Looking back at the last 10 years, we can’t believe how much has happened for us as a company. It’s been a rollercoaster to say the least, but one we would happily buy a ticket for again. We could not be prouder.
